1 Every Moment
Every moment of every day
The world’s foundations rock and sway
The infra structure is in decay
On this troubled earth
Truth has perished from their lips
Reading from the wrong script
Honesty has been eclipsed.
In the pains of childbirth
On angel wings the message flew
For the Gentile and the Jew
The Scriptures give us a preview
There’s no need to read between the lines
It’s the signs of the times
Every season in every year
Brings us closer to when he’ll reappear
The road’s been long but the end is near
There’s no need for concerns
Though the world seems out of joint
It’s moving to a specific point
The signed and sealed he will anoint
When he returns
Some may think that it’s not true
The divine rent is overdue
Judgement’s here in plain view
And there’s no need to read between the lines
It’s the signs of the times
Every minute of every hour
The Lord’s name is a strong tower
Fortified from man’s power
The height of perfection
Those within it, have no fear
Though the end is drawing near
The Lord is their overseer
And protection
Some may think that it’s just bluff
That it’s been made up off the cuff
But it’s been preached for long enough
There’s no need to
Read between the lines
It’s the signs of the times
2 Too Fast
Too fast - it’s exploding like a
Rock blast – the war’s been raging
Above our heads
So connect the threads
The time
Is prime for
Jesus – to be returning and
Free us, from all the degradation
On the earth
We know what that is worth
Stay strong
It won’t be long
The seats are taken in the court
And the devil knows his time is short
His anger no one can assuage
He’s filled with fury
Full of rage
Michael - and his angels broke the
Cycle - and threw the devil down to the ground
But now the world’s spellbound
Rejoice you heavens
But woe the earth
The sin is spreading, it’s getting diverse
It’s always been bad but now it’s worse
The world looks dark and full of grief.
But this present darkness will be brief.
Too dark - the corruption is
Too stark – but up in heaven there’s a
Lamb who reveals
The opening of the seals
Use your eyes
Get wise
The dragon’s cunning
The time is coming
When he’ll be running
But he will not out pace
The brightness shining from Christ’s face
Jesus is the king, he’s the Lord
From his mouth comes a two-edged sword.
Too fast - it’s exploding like a
Rock blast
3 Come Away
I met you on the corner with your lipstick and your lace
Frightened, sad and lonely, I could see it in your face
I asked you what your name was as you leaned against the wall
And when you looked into my eyes I know you heard my spirit call
Come away from this restless night
Come away and walk in the light
You say it's grey but life is black and white
It's gonna be alright, alright now
Your bruised affection, broken heart, your torn and tattered dress
You've had some problems in your life and girl I must confess
That I don't know the answers to the questions in your head
But I love you little sister, please remember what I've said
Come away from this restless night
Come away and walk in the light
You say it's grey but life is black and white
It's gonna be alright, alright now
Instead of taking money from lonely men and hanging 'round outside bars
You could lay down in the long grass and look up at the stars
And try to think about the one who hung the galaxies in space
He also has the power, girl, to help you find your place
Come away from this restless night
Come away and walk in the light
You say it's grey but life is black and white
It's gonna be alright, alright now
It's gonna be alright now
It's gonna be alright now
Stop running 'round the world come home girl
It's gonna be alright now
4 It’s Gone Well Past That
People used to be kind I remember it well
You’d help an enemy if he fell,
But there’s been a shift
We’ve let kindness drift
Too late to have a chat
It’s gone well past that
There used to be give and take
We’d agree to disagree, it was a piece of cake
Now the world’s gone hard, (If you dare to differ) you’ll get barred
It’s no longer tit-for-tat
It’s gone well past that
All you needed was love but that’s gone awry
To tolerance we can wave goodbye
We’ve learnt the knack
saying “I’m alright Jack”
Don’t take off your tin-hat
It’s gone well past that
There’s no sunshine in the darkness
We’re witnessing the madness of the crowds
We need a dissolution of the hardness
And receive him who’s coming in coming on the clouds
Leaders used to show care long ago
Now Revelation says it is woe, woe, woe
The world’s gone mad
Exchanging good for bad
Don’t send for the diplomat
It’s gone well past that
Get your feet off that Welcome Mat
It’s gone well past that
We could turn down the thermostat
But it’s gone well past that
It’s not a friendly spat
It’s gone well past that
People used to be warm but now they’re cold
We used to be asked but now we’re told
The world’s on the rack
Until Christ comes back
Early on I smelt a rat
Now it’s gone well past that
5 Creation Groans
We can see creation groans
The tired earth has aching bones
It’s gone well past its prime
With it’s in pain to this present time
Its bondage to decay
Means that its black has turned to grey
Its veneer has worn away
And now it waits for the children to be revealed
And what was locked will be unsealed
Man’s revolt has taken its toll
We’ve dug ourselves into a hole
And so we wait for redemption
And for our body’s salvation
And we wait with earnest hope
For God to pull us up this slope
For no one else has enough rope
We groan inwardly as we wait
For God’s plan to activate
The forces are acting on the human race
The god of this age is moving apace
Leviathan, that monster of time and space
That coiling serpent will lose his place
The labour pains come thick and fast
Men’s hands hang limp they look aghast
nations left in perplexity
At the roaring of the sea
Oh yeah the time is drawing near
When the Lord Jesus will appear
And Satan will not domineer
Creation groans in the pains of childbirth
And the meek will inherit the earth
Creation, creation creation groans
Each nation, each nation, each nation knows
We moving moving moving fast
The future, the future meets the past
6 Valley Of Decision
The timing’s right
Made with precision
Multitudes in the Valley of Decision
See the pattern
Can you discern?
It’s gone full-term
And he will return
I have decided to follow Jesus
I have decided to follow Jesus
I have decided to follow Jesus
No turning back
Put my hand to the plough now
I cannot turn
Put my hand to the plough now
I cannot turn
Put my hand to the plough now
I cannot turn
No looking back
We must decide
We can run but cannot hide
The enemies of God
Will be in derision
Multitudes in the Valley of Decision
Got my eyes to the skies for his returning
Got my eyes to the skies for his returning
Got my eyes to the skies for his returning
He’s coming back
I have decided to follow Jesus
I have decided to follow Jesus
I have decided to follow Jesus
No turning back
7 The Last Days
Keep your feet walking
And your mouth talking
And your lips proclaiming praise
Keep your heart hoping
And your eyes open
As we walk through the last days
Don’t let your heart
be dragged down by the mayhem
Keep your mind
on him who came to Bethlehem
Who the earth will see again
One more time
So stay in line
Keep your heart confessing
And your spirit dressing
In the robes of righteousness
Christ’s returning
Keep your oil lamp burning
Don’t be found in idleness
Don’t let the times take you by surprise
Keep looking up at the bright clouds in the blue skies
Like a virgin who has been wise
With her light
Yeah, keep it bright
We’ll all get measured by the same rule
We can be sure that he’ll be just
His enemies will be his footstool
So if you’re looking for salvation
Read Revelation
All of creation is groaning for his rule
Don’t be a fool
Keep your mind engaged
On the war that’s waged
Against all that is good
Keep your hands held high
As you walk on by
The merchants of falsehood
Don’t let the people blind you with their lies
Make sure that your heart is not taken by surprise
Keep your eyes upon the prize
In the last days
It’s just a phase
Let your heart praise
In the last days
8 Jeannie Lowe
Jeannie Lowe
Did your know
I’m blessed you love me?
Each bless racks and then stacks
To the stars above me heart
You have so much light
Dazzling in the night
Those who see you ought to shield their eyes
From the brightness
Of your shining heart
If they are smart
Your patient smile and extra mile
Touch my senses
I’ve often heard a loving word
You break my defences
You have so much love
Given from above
Everyone who knows you can plainly see that
You’re a stream of light
Brightening the night
Jeannie Lowe
Woman aglow
With radiant beaming
Those who stand
Close at hand
See the gleaming
Children run to you
They can see the hue
Of the golden divine light that
Emanates from you
Like a rainbow
You make a dull day glow
Jeannie Lowe
I hope you know
I’ll always love you
I may be dumb
But I can do the sum
That one comes from two
Your love’s in my heart
And will not depart
Many winds or waters cannot quench the love
After the hurricane
Our love will remain
9 Don’t Touch That Dial
Leave me alone, don’t give me that blurb
Pass me that sign, that says “Do not disturb”
Let me be, don’t cramp my style
Leave me in this chair and don’t touch that dial
Don’t challenge my ways, or give me a chore
Don’t seek me out, and don’t knock on my door.
Don’t ask me to go, the second mile
Leave me in this chair and don’t touch that dial
Don’t touch that dial – Get off my case
If you don’t see me smile – it’s ‘cause you’re in my personal space
I don’t walk straight, I like to twist and turn
Meandering, as I freely sojourn
I may seem calm but I easily rile
Don’t disrupt my show, and don’t touch that dial
Don’t touch that dial – I know I’m sinking fast
But It’s not my style – to move too fast
Woe to Him, who’s at ease in Zion
He’ll be surprised by Judah’s Lion
The faithful servant’s busy with his Lord’s concerns
It will be good for that man when his Lord returns
Adrift in the ocean, without anchoring
I follow the breeze, a kite without a string
Don’t pull me back, leave me for a while
Let me vegetate and don’t touch that dial
Don’t touch that dial – Wait until I say
It may be a while – stuck in this clay
